Mr Wagner advises companies as well as the Federal Government of Germany, the federal states and local authorities on specialised issues of EU law. His key areas of expertise are EU State aid law and general EU law, including regulatory issues. Mr Wagner also advises on questions of EU funding law as well as EU and German competition law. He represents his clients primarily in proceedings of the European Commission and before the EU courts.

  • Consulting several airports on questions of EU State aid law and antitrust law
  • Consulting municipal utilities in designing broadband schemes consistent with EU State aid law
  • Training and consulting of a German federal state concerning ERDF and ESF funding
  • Representing companies in cartel proceedings before the European Commission and the General Court
  • Legal opinion on EU product safety law for several construction associations
  • Representing the European Commission and EU agencies in legal proceedings and out-of-court disputes
