Dr Henrik Kühl
Specialist lawyer for construction and architects’ law
Henrik advises on private construction law as well as architects' and engineers' law. His clients are public and private clients, architects, engineers, and contractors. His advice covers both contract drafting and legal enforcement during construction and in court. Another focus of his practice is banking and finance law. Dr. Kühl advises on real estate and renewable energy projects, particularly in the review and draftig of sales prospectuses, compliance with and applicability of banking supervisory regulations, and the drafting and negotiation of financing agreements.
Recent work
- Providing legal advice to Stuttgarter Lebensversicherung throughout the KarLa construction project in Stuttgart
- Providing legal advice to the Deutsche Bundesbank on debt collection and enforcement in connection with the construction of its largest branch nationwide (Dortmund, volume approx. €300 million)
- Legal project support and management for the construction of the Huyssen Quartier Essen, consisting of an 18-storey high-rise building and other buildings used partly for commercial and partly for residential purposes
- Legal advice to a public client in connection with civil engineering services for the implementation of the municipal wastewater disposal concept throughout the entire city area
- Legal advice to a public client in connection with civil engineering and building construction services for the construction of a vocational college
- Banking and finance law advice to Bürger Energie Genossenschaft – Freisinger Land eG in connection with the financing and public participation in the Jesenwang public wind farm project (total cost approx. €36 million) and the Hohenkammer public wind farm project (total cost approx. €25 million)
- Drafting of contracts (e.g. qualified subordinated loans) and sales documents (project descriptions, sales prospectuses, etc.) in connection with citizen participation in renewable energy plants (wind farms, solar parks, etc.)
- Ongoing banking law advice in the context of real estate transactions
