Die Absolventinnen und Absolventen des Lehrgangs DVPzert Projektmanager BIM (PM BIM) haben sich eingehend mit den Veränderungen der Projektsteuerungsleistungen, speziell im Hinblick auf das Standardleistungsbild AHO-Heft Nr. 9, unter Anwendung der Arbeitsmethode BIM, und den zusätzlichen Aufgaben die der Projektmanager/die Projektmanagerin wahrzunehmen hat, beschäftigt. Sie haben sich mit der Funktion der Auftraggeberinformationsanforderungen sowie der Struktur von BIM-Abwicklungsplänen und deren Integration in ein Organisationshandbuch, wie auch den Einsatz einzelner BIM-Werkzeuge wie Model-Viewer und BCF-Kommunikationsformate für die Projektsteuerung auseinandergesetzt. Auch die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen für die Tätigkeit des Projektsteuerers mit neuen Leistungen und Verantwortlichkeiten haben sie verinnerlicht. Die PM-BIM-Zertifikatsinhaber und -inhaberinnen können auf Grundlage umfassender Anwendungskompetenz in BIM-Projekten und BIM-Teilprojekten mitwirken.
