Stephan Ehbets advises on private construction law with a focus on international plant construction projects, particularly in the field of renewable energies (onshore/offshore wind, solar parks). His work includes advising on and negotiating international standard contracts (FIDIC, NEC) and individually tailored EPC contracts, assisting with construction law disputes with international dimensions, and representing clients in international arbitration proceedings.
In real estate law, he advises in particular on commercial tenancy law (production, hotel, logistics and retail properties) as well as on FM and operator agreements. He also assists clients in real estate transactions, including due diligence reviews.
He advises in German, English, French and Dutch.
Recent work
- Providing ongoing advice to a leading German automobile manufacturer on all aspects of real estate law
- Providing ongoing advice on lease law and management law to a Luxemburg real estate fund in connection with a shopping centre
- Advising on the sale of a commercial real estate portfolio in Berlin with a value of c. EUR 250 million
