Dr Katrin Prechtl
Kathrin advises and represents clients in and out of court in all areas of private construction law and on project development issues. Key practice areas include energy projects, especially wind and solar projects. Here she advises on all civil law issues (in particular for securing land and for the construction and operation of plants). She also advises on project structuring, contract drafting and project transactions.
Recent work
- Providing project-related advice on securing land, construction and operation of numerous wind and solar park projects, including the assertion of claims for defects
- Advising buyers and sellers on the acquisition and sale of renewable energy plants including project rights
- Advising various municipalities on securing land for community wind energy projects
- Advising property developers on the development and realisation of projects

- Studied law as a scholarship-holder of the Hanns Seidel Stiftung at the University of Passau, 2010 to 2016
- Legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court Munich, including a seat at the public prosecutor's office Ingolstadt, 2016 to 2018

- PhD on sanctions law at the University of Passau
