Leska advises companies as well as the Federal Government of Germany, the federal states and municipalities on specialised questions of EU law. Her key practice areas include EU state aid law, general EU law (comprising regulatory issues), along with foreign trade and EU sanctions. She also provides guidance on European competition law and represents clients in proceedings before the European Commission and EU courts. Leska advises in German, English and French.

- Studied German and French law in Mainz and Paris with practical stays abroad in Tokyo, New York City and Beirut, 2014 to 2020
- Master's degree (Maîtrise en droit) in European and International Law at the Université Paris XII, 2017 to 2018
- Research assistant in the Hamburg offices of Hogan Lovells, 2020, and Allen & Overy, 2021
- Legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg with stages at the Federal Foreign Office, the European External Action Service in Brussels, the antitrust practice group of Allen & Overy and European Lawyers in Lesvos, 2020 to 2023
- Admitted to the bar in Germany (Hanseatische RAK Hamburg), 2024 and lawyer at Kapellmann since 2024
