Simon advises and represents private investors and public clients on all administrative law issues in connection with construction projects and the implementation of complex approval procedures. His practice focuses on planning and building law as well as sectoral planning and environmental law (in particular nature conservation law and immission control law). His main projects include projects in the energy sector, in particular wind and solar parks.

- Legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe, including seats at the Bavarian of State Palace Administration and a law firm in private construction and architectural law, 2019 to 2021
- Research assistant at a international law firm in public commercial law, 2021 to 2024
- Ongoing PhD on constitutional law topic at LMU (Munich)
- Lawyer at Kapellmann since 2024
